DC dps role problem

Can someone explain what is the fun of palying dc ? In every mmorpg that i played before clerics were really things in pvp but in this game(i am talking about pvp) clerics are just immortal towers and cannot do anything to players,we are just standing like a strong tower i am not telling dc are weak but where is the fun part? no kill no damage and our damage path is not viable in pvp nice dot damage but paper char so what do u think about that

Pre level 70, DPS (Righteous) cleric dominates PVP... at least mine did. It was my first character, didn't matter... The burst damage was unreal... and if they ran... they died to DoT.

After level 70 Immortal Clerics can keep you alive, while DPS (Righteous) Clerics debuff the enemies into oblivion, and your DPS (who are also immortal because of the immortal cleric) do the actual damage.

Or something like that.

so far i met only one truly scary DPS DC in PVP
he proabably took every possible DPS boon and feats and the combination was extreamly strong
one hit proc series of DoT that took more then half of my HP
I have ring of umbush and i know it was one hit

but comapre to other "perfect" PVP players i am not sure he was any different (all rank 12 + guild boons etc.)
seen GF that hit me for 170K, seen GWF kill me even faster. HR and CW at that level wont let me live more then 3 sec as well

so yes they are few truly PVP DPS DC out there

Ring of ambush is for cowards and hacks. I put every person I see in PVP wearing one on ignore. It doesn't prevent me from seeing them in PVP again but doesn't limit my exposure to them outside of PVP. Same goes for anyone wearing drains

ok, and 15K ArP is fair play?
ppl kill me in 2 sec and are upset if i use umbush ring to survive 10 sec more...

I am done trading points with those top PVP guild.
they wana trade something go collect baseball card, kuku bird eggs or what ever considerd legit in your country.

I am done giving free kills to those top PVP players.
if you wana kill me, mark me and learn how to run fast.

so far only ppl complain about "fair play" kill me in 2 sec.
why dont you take of your banners armor cause i cant even join siege PVP not to mention getting 200 points.
take off your 8000ArP boon cause it take my guild one more year to get one
and then see your fair play

You don't have ArP boons in your guild?

Sounds more like you are looking for the fast track to compete at an elite level than and that does not sound like fair play to me

BTW do you want all the 4k players running around with drains and ambush rings? Because that is what will happen if the pvp guilds decide to lower their ethics to your level. You will die without seeing who hit you.

BTW I'm not in a pvp guild, I don't have lvl 10 boon structures, I have lionsmane because I farmed it all in the opening weekend. Just like any new content in this game I saw it for what it was, something everyone would race to achieve and then noone would do ever again (take tiamat, GG, MC, VT (until mod 6),

i dont understand why equipemnt and boons that few can have are 'fair play' while equipemnt that everyone can get is not.
feel free to use what ever you can get and play as you like, its PVP.

if those guilds decide to use ring of umbush... i honsetly dont think i will make any difference.

I am not looking to compete agaisnt those elite (i do 0 damage to them now and even in mode 4 it was impossible).
but the last thing i look for is thier advice on how to play fair

I refuse to seat by the fire and i won't say gg unless its was a good game.

as for low levels that came in my way, i refuse to fight them either. when match is one sided (and its all one sided now) and i am on the winning team i take a break and let them do as they like.

avatar of the divine is free 40% recharge speed + 40% damage for 25 seconds. that means and for pvp and pve can focus to other stats and artifacts without worrying so much about recharge speed VS the other trees.i have 2 Clerics the one is virtuous and the other rigtheous. MY righteous has the astral shield faster cooldown than my virtuous. Yesterday IN pvp a bis gwf friend told me i deal high damage for the encounters i use ( glow-spirit)
and my penetration is 7k i dont know what will happen if i go to 12k penetration but isnt my personal damage the case teamates damage dealers should hit my targets because they are full debuffed?

tr has hard times in pvp because of the brand of the sun and if it has the paragon feat it reduces also enemy critical to -5% and they damage they deal by 5 %.

YOU want to stay alive ? tenacity-deflection-control resist and astral shield and you are ready to go.

note YOU can harm enemies and give some heals other trees just heal.

in terms how you protect your pt you have break the spirit debuff for example a tr or a gwf or a gf. and empower shield. SINCE everyone use feytouched and so much heal from mounts boons just cast shield and throw glow heals and astral seal.
