When are we finally gonnaget some use for our collection points?
Like buying items like an orange quality mount?
There must ne some reward for our efforts!

    In LOTRO players received 'Turbine points' (like ZEN) for completing various achievements in game. Something similar would be nice in NW. Hand out Tarmalune bars, AD or ZEN for killing those 500 zombies or collecting all the basic horses, an armour set, all the titles from a new Mod, or whatever. Doesn't have to be large amounts; wouldn't want to risk breaking such a well functioning economy. Why not allow players to swap collection points for small amounts of TBs, AD or ZEN?

    ya but thats the same as zen here, which you can purchase via AD.. so its not a similar system at all..

    they also gave you direct turbine points for anniversaries for basically logging in every day for ten days or something.. they were quite generous at times.. but so isnt this company and its winter festival.. I think they do well overall and when you match the two its not different really in terms of freebies.

    The collection points is there for the people who collect.. I dont care.. never did..nor will never.

    I dont even remember how many I have on my DC.. but it will always be lower then those who opened up tens of thousands of lockboxes.. vs my thousands ive done.

    I just dont open up enough to ever get collection points.

    nor will I ever probably.

    I accept your arguments but collection points seem completely pointless in NW - you said as much. Even a token amount of ZEN, AD or TBs would be either a 'good will gesture' to players or an incentive for new players who hadn't spent any money on the game to invest. Imagine you've earned 100ZEN from collection points and bought your first 10 preservation wards for 85 ZEN. You've got 15ZEN to spare and now you're hooked...

    When they first implemented the collection system, they stated that at some point in the future, they might look into the points being used for *something* though they never specified what and I guess they just have not had the resources available to do much with it.
