Can anyone help me on how to transmute your weapon into a stronger weapon, not just appearance chang

I am Lvl 70 hunter, trying to figure out how to transmute weapon to stronger weapon, not just get an appearance change. Don't know if I can or not but see other players that have done it. My weapons are artifact weapons.

No, they haven't. It is not possible. You can only change appearance, not the power.

Once an artifact weapon is at max level from refining it, it can go no higher. You would then get a new/different artifact weapon and refine it, using your old one as refinement points to improve it quicker. You will lose some of its value in the feeding process, about 20% I think.

What is the difference? If you want your weapon to have the stats of a new weapon, simply transmute the look of the old one, onto the new one.

Voilà! your old weapon has stats of new one

You will not be able to keep both appearance, and refinement however.

Much better to feed your artifact weapon set into the new weapons, then find a new look to transmute onto it.

There are several HR artifact weapons which have different stats (http://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Artifact_weapon) and artifact weapons can have an additional power. You need to grind the new artifact from the EE zones or add a power using cubes of augmentation.
