Angel of protection

So I see now in the trade house there is quite alot of Angel of protection for sell, they cost about a million and a half Astral diamonds. I thought you could only get them through celestial coins and you only get about 2 max a day, however I see a person selling about 2 or 3 at a time, is there some other way people getting them, like a promotion?

The Angel of Protection takes 360 Ardent Coins, not Celestial Coins. If a person is selling multiples of her, they bought someone else's, & are reselling it at a higher price, or its from a different character of theirs

Considering we are at the year mark, your going to see a TON of these going up. For the first 2-3 weeks people are going to buy any low priced ones then jack up the price until there is enough backlog for the price to stabilize at a lower point.

Many people have many alts. There was a sale last year where slots were 60zen each - and I brought enough then to have one character of each class. At the moment they're just sitting there, but if they were praying every day I could have eight angels now.

There was also an event early on right after release that you had the opportunity to get more ardent coins through a random drop. Alot of people farmed that event pretty hardcore and bolstered their numbers early on. I have a buddy who had enough for an angel over a month ago.

If I were to use money to buy zen and then sell that for Astral Diamonds how much will I be paying in real usa money if the angel cost about a million and half in Astral diamonds?

If you buy 5,300 zen for $50 and sell those at the current rate of 290ad per zen you will have it.

Ok thanks, tempting but might wait a year until I have enough coins. I would though if you could do more with companions such as pet them or feed them.

The Angels will likely be well under a million by the end of next week and under half a million, may be even a quarter million, by the end of April and then stabilize. The price has already dropped to an average of slightly over a million with 1.25 the current highest listed buyout.

Oh that's nice, I sure hope so, if it drops where I can buy it for 30$ or less then I mostly likely will get it then.

Saw the same on the market too. I only managed to get 300 coins, couldn't wait so I bought two rare weapon transmutations. Sold them for a fair price.

Then comes the tough choice. Sell it quick before the price drops more or keep to use.

I'll get my first angel a few days before 2x RP starts and my second one a few days after it ended.
It's probably better to keep it. I saved up a whole year for it because I wanted to have it and not to sell it.

Well I'm not squishy and pretty much never fall in battle so the resurrection bonus is worthless to me. I'll stick with my Mercenary Companion.

My characters aren't squishy either but sh*t happens, especially in Neverwinter.

Bugs & glitches, lags, screen freezes, disconnects, server not responding periods, rubberbanding/ teleporting into an abyss, occasional game crashes, occasional character auto- log outs, errors made by team mates, errors made by yourself and so on...

I feel you there. Perhaps for some classes it's helpful. I just thought it would be a bit more of an impressive companion since it takes close to a year to get it the legitimate way.

But you could do both as long as the price is still good when you get it. Sell it when you get it and buy one back when the price bottoms out. I expect to buy back most of the angels I sold for less than the selling price of one. I sold several and flipped one.

Well, until I get my first angel the price will be dropped so much that I won't be able to make any profit. Beside, I would be forced to wait longer until I could actually use it.
If I had got it at the same time as you had I would probably have sold it too for a few millions.

The honest reason I want it it's because of the looks and it's rare, just like I have collected my other companions, I could care less about stats lol, I play the game to explore and lore not for high end gear and stats. They should keep extending the game so it can be more exploration based too. Oh and I finally bought it it went down enough.

I'm glad for you. I still think the rest of my prediction from the 29th will hold and prices will be under half a mil by the end of the month and possibly closer to the quarter mil mark. I'm planning on buying 2 of mine back when it hits under 400,000.

I sold my 1st one a while back for just under a Million

I get another couple in a week or so, I`ll keep one just because I like to have 1 of as many Companions as I can get

It still sells on PC, but I haven't checked the price recently.

It will bottom out and then rise to find a somewhat stable price point. The level will depend on how useful players find the Angel, any new companion heal/resurrect additions and the rate new angels enter the AH. It will never be back up where it was, but may settle in the same range as other non-lockbox Epic companions. Currently, that would be in the 200,000 to 300,000 range. It's closest competitor is the Battlefield Medic (just under 400,000) and the Angel will sell for less than the Medic when it all settles down. The Medic is better overall, but an Angel /Phoera soulforged combo can make some fun, yet squishy, builds more viable.

How often does it proc bonding runestones? I don't see any actual attacks on it....so.....never?

I would be surprised if its a good proc for bonding. It looks like it has one active action (2.5s) Will test it in a couple days. Price is already down to 250k.

Two of the three skills are passives that won't proc the bondings
