Has Bossfights improved ?.

I quit Neverwinter about 2 years ago after having played is daily for a few months, i left because i was getting really fed up with the cheap and lazy way the developers had programmed the bossfights. Back then, fighting a boss was all about being spammed by adds and nothing else.. Pray the tank has seriously good AoE-threat or everyone would be ready really fast.

I healed the werewolf boss a few times and on the very first heal, alll the adds would simply rush at me, which meant i couldn't properly heal the tank, and from there is was all going to the respawn screen.

So i've been interested in returning to Neverwinter, but before i do, i want to know if the devs has improved the bossfights or are they still the same lazy add-spam as they were 2 years ago?.

    adds were replaced with aoe attacks,
    competent players with players eho ignore said red circles.
    As a healer prepare to be either a Action Points generator or a boss debuffer.
    Please fix Zhentarim Warlock companion's skill "Arcane Warping" to the originally intended "Arcane Boost"

    Pure -> Transcendent Plague Fire weapon enchantment giving 80damge/20 seconds for 500k+ AD is a joke.

    the problem now is that they didnt keep one add heavy instance.. went from ALL add heavy. too none.

    they shouldve kept some of it.

    for variety.. that was the issue with the adds.. it was every fight had them.. instead of just 1-2.

    From what I remember when I used to run eCC and eGWD you where just spammed with a crazy number of adds. eTOS didn't seem to spawn as many adds. I did notice early on just fighting the leveling bosses that spamming adds was the go to tactic for Neverwinter.

    I remember in mod8 doing the storyline quests there where a few boss fights where you just had to fight the boss and worry about his mechanics. That was a nice change of pace.

    I don't mind add spawning as a mechanic but it shouldn't be the go to solution for the majority of the boss fights.

    The lag is gone from most ofthe queued instances but theres still mind numbing stupidity in them. Like for instance somehow somewhere in the maze patch they managed to remove the ability to target the hands that grip players in valindra so that unless you kill her super fast everyone will eventually be gripped and die to an invisible unseen hand. Orcus still oneshots anyone not a bubble pally and the orbs do something strange against bubbles for some reason, I say strange cause no amount of math or logic explains why a bubble pally can sit in an orb, but if anyone tethered to the bubble pally steps in one the pally instantly splats. Oh and since the latest patch I've not gotten a single yeti in need for mead. But the rubberbanding is gone from them so thats a plus.

    the hand goes down with aoe attacks .( i am righteous dc target the player and spam glow and daunting light).

    My GF survives Orcus just fine. I go in, get agro, and the party burns Orcus to the ground. Only ever becomes a problem if I get a lag spike (problem that bubble pally doesn't have).

    My 3K GF (which is an IV not a swordsmaster, so no steel defence) tanks Orcus easy as with a little help from my DC friends. In fact if anything, Orcus is too easy. The last few runs I've done, with premade parties ranging from 2.6K - 3.5K, he hasn't even lasted long enough for the rifts to appear. The beholder is harder

    GWF has no real problems with the hands since his attacks aren't targeted. It's a little harder to see who's getting grabbed, but when you hear the audio queue you just have to take a second to look around.

    Always the person furthest from Valindra is the one who gets grabbed.
