artifact question

in PvE Discussion
This weekend i got my hands on a book of the dead. When i tryed to obsorb a other artifact in to it the book of the dead would not give me the option to use the tricksters artifact for refinement. Am i doing somthing wrong? or is it just artifact type?

    down side of class artifacts... you can't get put them into other artifacts.
