Shaundakul lockbox rewards - Rare Quality on Epic Roll

Got rare quality on an epic loot roll.

    The post is not about winning a lottery. If you pay enough attention you'll see that system is telling about win of epic quality, but there is only rare.
    Happened to me several times also with new lockbox.

    This is in contrast what devs told in Maze Engine description in patch section:
    Rewards

    When opening items that show a reward window, the quality presented by that window now more consistently reflects the best-quality item in the pack.

    Whenever a lockbox says you'll get one of a list of things, always expect to receive the least valuable item.

    I.e. a list of 7 artifacts....or a peridot. I guarantee you'll pull the peridot every time.

    The percentages have never been posted, but in my experience they're under 5% for the truly good stuff. Probably closer to 1 or 2%...

    The best drops such as mounts have a drop rate of 0.5% based on actual tests where people opened large quantities of boxes (thousands at a time, usually on preview server)

    His point is that it's saying he won an epic quality reward (which in this case should be the artifact) and but was actually given a rare quality reward.

    I havent played in months, came back an thought I would grab ViP with some leftover AD & the very first thing to drop with the free key was the Legendary mount.
    Sure I was chuffed to bits but Ive had a toon going since beta & have never won anything from the lockboxes until that point so its just par for the course, expect the worst & anything more is a bonus.

    In my philosophy, if someone wishes to make a point, then they should actually make that point.

    So sorry, next time I'll PM you before I make a post, and check that it is in line with your "philosophy" prior to posting it. Looks like you are the only one struggling to utilize the small amount of thinking required to deduce the issue with the image.

    or you know, type 2-3 lines of text explaining what your issue with the pic you posted is (in the original post) ;)

    on the topic : my rare reward was a epic comp.fort.kit but broken queues and bosses and insignias are bugging me more

    lol, i bought hot wheel cars that look like dev's real car, and use them as bad mojo voodoo car, poke a needle in the tire, so they get flat tires if i pull epic trove of ele evil again.

    gosh, they need to pull that out and put in gift guy's market. since they are no sells and no discard, only solution is to make a throw away alt and delete.

    Nothing new just usual craptic trolling. Not like getting an epic rng box like elemental trove out of a lockbox is really an epic drop. But hey y get the music and purple window. Gongratz y've been HAMSTER.

    yes, we all know, when we see "Epic" congratulation for winning an epic trove, to the players' opinions, it isnt even consider useful, only just for "ha-ha ha's" fluff gimmick.
    i assume they were suppose to be part of "April's Fool Day" prank.

    it like saying you may get epic mount or companion, but instead you get a toy.

    I have been getting that "Epic" quality reward notification from lair chests, HE encounters, and zone contests for well over a year but the rewards have never been "Epic" as far back as I can remember. So I guess what you got was just a continuation of that same typo/flaw in the popup or actual reward.

    ew, just got a blue prize today. just few refine stones. worse ever beside ele trove.

    man, i can get more of those from leadership crafters, why do i need those blue box of prizes, how lame, and dont forget it easy to farm sharamdar and dread rings if i need more refine stones or marks.
    i think i got wi-flagged.
