Also, on the inventory "other currencies" section - near as I have been able to tell, you trade these in at the various sites to Bounty Hunters, and at best get an unidentified green piece of equipment. Is there anything worthwhile to get with any of this?

Drake and Pegasus seals can be traded for bags of rough astral diamonds at the seal vendor in PE.

In regards to your second question: Not really.

My first thought is you should bop them and make them into a coat... if that doesn't interest you (or you have no idea what I'm talking about), then know that all the the seals can now be traded for Seals of the Adventurer. Those can then be traded for useless gear or AD at the seal vendor in the Market area of PE.

On your second question: rarely you can get whatever gear happens to drop from the bosses in that area. It's rare, and only good maybe for transmutes. Most of the time you get some trash green though.

By the way: If you've been rolling through normal DDs for a while to get your AD daily, you probably have a pile of old low end seals. The most Seals of the Adventurer you can have is 1200. You can't trade in more than you can carry, so the game won't let you waste seals (I tested this - was actually a little surprised, but there you go). Point is, you don't have to monitor it, but if suddenly you can't trade more and you know you have more to trade... that's why.

Convert into Seals of the Adventurer, then buy a ton of R5 enchants. 2XRP coming up...

You can trade in all the seals below Elemental and Protectors for the new Adventurer's Seals in Protector's Enclave where the Lion Seal vendor previously stood. Please note that those seals do max out at 1200, so if you have a ton of other seals, you will need to spend some Adventurer's seals before converting more seals over. With the Adventurer's Seals you can get Eternal Armor, bags of Rough Astral Diamonds, or Rank 6 enchants.

To further clarify my previous post, if you're trading, say, Drake or Unicorn seals, for rAD, it's more profitable to use the Seals of the Elements vendor. I find the exchange rate for Seals of the Adventurer to be a bit....anemic, for their value. (For instance, 20 Drake Seals will get you a bag worth 3k AD, whereas those same 20 seals won't even get you enough Seals of the Adventurer to get you ONE bag of 500 rAD.)

you get more of those "retired" seals from winter festival, from the fishings.
i am sure those old seals will be back as newly upgraded seals for future dungeon adventures, or maybe add to new foundery missions.
