Invisible Walls???

Apparently there are invisible walls around certain, actually many various areas that are actually fun to mess around with when either, waiting for a queue into a dungeon, or just messing around with friends and whatnot. In the stronghold map and in most of the level 70 maps/instances, There are a countless number of invisible walls that are just there for what? What are they there for?

For example: In the stronghold map there are tons of invisble walls, around rocks, on corners and the most obvious when I first walked into the Stronghold map- The fountain inside the main gate. Why? Just why is there an invisible wall preventing us free-roam fun players from entering the fountain, what bad could come out of it?

Another good example: Why should there be an invisible wall to the left of the main gate to enter Icewind Pass/Dwarven Valley that leads to a lake down below. That would be an AMAZING place to chill out.

And what does it take? You've done a great job for all the level 60 and below maps/instances. There are brilliant spots to hang out. Just to hang over someone and they're just like "How the...how did you get up there?" O_o

I think it would be a 10/10 if there were no invisible walls around/on such places. I mean, come on. Why would a rock, which ANY class can jump onto, have an invisible wall? You might as well not even put it there...

They actually drive me NUTS.. all the new zones have them and they virtually make it so you cant die (think spinwards.. why the heck am I not dying when I want ? The underdark zone looks so neat and you are stuck from going down below and playing around as well.

Frankly this has been one of the MOST irritating things to me in newer content.

Total lack of respect for exploration.. OH no someone might die (as if it mattered) did they change this because people complained about deaths?

    arrrghhhh.

Your ability to roam has to end eventually. They can't just create an entire continent for you to fool around on. And at some point you'll realize that literally everything being surrounded by mountains and/or walls with no transit points is exceedingly stupid and unrealistic, even in a setting that canonically defies geographical sense "because magic", and totally something you should be able to manage if only they'd let you get some climbing supplies or cast one of the typical "ruin 95% of all obstructions to skipping straight to the end of the story so you can actually enjoy stuff and maybe not die from encountering the demi-god epic boss when you're level 5" spells ubiquitous in D&D.

The invisible barrier around the fountain is annoying, though. That's got to go.
