7 months and still no fix for "Opening mail crashes game".

I've posted a bug about my opening ingame mail causes the game to crash, then I see a post from August 2015 where someone else had the same problem, which leads me to believe that in 7 months (it's now March 2016) they haven't fixed this issue???
