Hi all, player of both the PC, and most recent, Xbox versions of this game... played WoW for 5 years two years prior to trying Neverwinter. Half the reason for trying this game was due to R.A. Salvatore's novels that I've been reading over the last 15 years.. I thought it'd be enjoyable immersing myself in the universe I've always only been able to imagine. And it was something my spouse enjoyed too, so it was nice to share that with her. But the enjoyment is feeling tiresome, even burdensome.. I'm a level 51 guardian fighter, and she's a level 67 ranger. I always had an issue with the player classes (prefer earlier editions), but with good game play, I can look past that..
So, first of all, greed rolls for greens in parties. How can you set it up to remove this? I could care less about rolling for greens.. and having to press a button midfight to cancel an interference on my screen.. why?
Second, refinement. I never liked refinement. Was it mod6 that it came in? It didn't bother me terribly on PC, because clicking through the options is easier than on the xbox, where it's up and down scrolling with each tab.. there's way too many tabs to reach a final result. Why do they even take up inventory space? Sure, so we have to buy more bag space.. whatever, you need money to make a game, that's fine.. but why can't the refinement have it's own tab entirely that gathers all the reagents? I'm happy buying more bag space so I can quest longer before selling.. of course you gave us an artifact that defeats the purpose.. Also, the difference in refinement marks for union, stability, etc.. why do they have to be different? So much micro managing in the inventory. We have the VIP, so this is a daily occurrence managing whatever item you get.. I guess I could just discard, or auction the things I don't want. It still feels like a waste of time keeping up with each different form of refinement. Or doing it on the right day for that matter (x2 refinement days)..
Thirdly, power and gear swapping. Any way I can click on a button and have these change instantly from a preset? I like doing questing, pvp, and dungeons.. but manually swapping these things out each time feels cumbersome. I don't see what would hurt from allowing this. But may be I'm just unaware of a current function that allows this.
Fourth, campaigns. Am I right in that I can't do campaigns (besides Tyranny of Dragons) until level 70? I remember doing Sharandar at 60 on the PC.. why can't we do it on the Xbox at 60? Wouldn't that be a simple fix for the apparent problem of leveling 60-70? At least I think there's a problem. I'm pretty sure I read an admission to that by a dev - Strumslinger may be? I remember watching him do more of the promotions at the time of launch, and feeling his enthusiasm in the game.. I don't know what his current role is, but he seemed like he actually cared about the franchise.
And that's really why I bring any of this up.. the franchise. I love the Forgotten Realms universe. I want to see this game succeed. I like the artstyle, the storyline, and even party dynamics.. the voice acting could be better (may be it's better in the more recent installments).. I could go and keep playing Fallout 4 for a long time, but I feel like the changes I'd like seen in this game would actually keep me playing, and may be the same for others..
Thanks.
PS. offering Foundry quests on the Xbox would be amazing, too. ^^

And yeah the greens should be just a personal pickup... its not of good enough value to be a roll. Everytime i want to pick them i bother people... but i got this "i hate seeing refinement go to waste" mentality... But i have to let them go sadly when doing epic dungeons or nobody would want to do them with me.
