Network Upgrade 3/8 - Chat issues should be resolved

Update 12:18AM PT: The upgrades should be complete now. We'll continue to monitor the servers for stability.

Update 10:06AM PT: Chat issues should be resolved

Update 9:40AM PT: We're aware of the issues with chat and the friends list and are looking into it.

Update 8:47AM PT: As you all may have guessed by now, we're having a few issues with this upgrade. Things should be improved by now, but expect drops for the next hour or so. Sorry, I didn't update you guys. I was stuck in traffic for over an hour, but there's no excuse on my end.

We'll be performing a network upgrade at 6:30AM PT on 3/8. Players should only be affected for about 10 minutes and may experience trouble getting into the game. However, the game should be back up by 7AM PT.

    Why was this NOT on the client startup? Why was there NO warning in game and just dumped us all?

    i have been unable to log on for hours, I finally got back on and ten minutes later I get dc'd and again I am unable to get on the game.

    Got dc'ed for about 10 mins. got back in but now mail doesn't work. Internal chat server error.

    Apparently Rob Overlords diktat about communication was false . . . however from the STO forums

    What the hell is wrong with the server again. FEED THOSE DAMNED HAMSTERS! You have to spend a little more money for your servers, a lot people spend a lot money in this game the minimum what are we deserve is a good, normal server! I can't login since it's disconnected on loading screen now after I chose my character it's just always disconnect from the login server... -.- Please fix this. I'm the only one who can't log in now?
