SW wanting to learn the ropes in PVP...ideas please.

Hi, I've been playing pve for far too long and fancy respeccing for pvp. Ive heard some fun stories of some SW's being beastly....any advice would be gratefully received.

I have experienced etelgrin's loveliness... I have a feeling that Tab can and will become all hat he is in PvE and bring it to PvP. I am glad he is on my side. Now it is up to me and a few others to teach him how to PvP. I feel for you all. I have seen what he can do to Katatheo and other bosses... if he has an unbreakable DC with him... there will not be many OPs or GFs left standing.

I do however know what makes Tab tick and where his weaknesses lie... because we have gone 1v1 many times, and I love our guild "Hunt the Leader" events.​​

the only moments your class will suck are the moments you meet a skilled player on the other side playing a :

1. BIS GWF --> I talk about 1 vs 1 with the known 20k arp - 20k+ power, skilled "I twohit you-GWF"
2. 3k+ GF --> there are tons of scrub-GF´s, "fotm-class-wave" swaps over NWO-PVP like allways, but some skilled player are there who onerotate you at 3k+ level and you above their GS
3. MI sab with first strike and 20k+power-->100% onehit
4. 3k+ faithfull DC, no options to kill him
5. perma-routing hunter...the nightmare is a perma-hunter combined with a any good dps class like GF+Hunter, GWF+Hunter...a 110% lose
6.OP you can´t kill with Warlocks Bargain

warlock is nice pugging most time, but far away from being a strong class in PVP, in case you meet a skilled player on the other side of the PC
if you want the easy way go MI Sab, Destroyer-GWF at BIS level, or simple conquerer-GF.....or play Permabubble-OP, or faithfull-DC wich is boring af

A good build SW is able to survive a BiS GWF. You cannot kill him without help but you won't die as well 1v1. Just sayin'!

So how many warlocks did you meet till now that could facetank your GWF 1 vs 1 without help?
One or two?
Fernu is factanking some GWF, not all, Froggy is at distance I guess, not directly facetanking? who else?
and what about the other GWF Saber, Mangroth...I met him yesterday, uhh.... 2-3 hits and dead incase he catches you.
I only survive by kiting (the "no-touch-technic") and when I am BIS I will get you down, be sure
(I talk about the player who doesn´t suck at their class)

as I said pugging is enjoyable, but there are too many options to counter a warlock, MI sab, GF, GWF +/- perma hunter, no cc break no dodge
oneshot or onerotate or just disable a warlock and that´s it

FYI... Tab knows how to build a SW... he wants to rotate his build to fit in with PvP. So you know as well... that I have seen zeusom take out quite a few GWFs. They could not get near him.​​
