(edited: SOLVED it on my own over the night! It was my internet after all. I went to play another game and couldn't connect to any servers, and concluded our wifi must be overloaded with connections outside of our's. I just got the bad end of the stick.)
I've been grumbling at my computer for a little longer than I'd like to admit tonight, to try and figure out -why- I suddenly can't play this game. So maybe I should ask some people who may know more about Neverwinter's servers than I do, to maybe help determine whether the problem is just me or not. Before I go on, here's my specs: ASUS Desktop PC G20AJ Series Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz 8GB RAM (7.88GB available) GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 750
My husband seems to be able to play Neverwinter just fine across the room from me, but for some reason I keep getting kicked out before I can even create a new character. He and I have the same computer, same specs, same internet, same room, but yeah. Even when he turns the game off for a moment to see if maybe our internet isn't strong enough for the two of us. I still disconnect within 5 minutes.
What on earth would cause this to happen to only one of our computers? We played Wildstar together just fine for countless hours on monday without a single issue. I don't know much about how game servers or internet signals work, but I feel like it's one of those things?
