Getting gold in this is painful and not many people have it. There is a rumour that the mission is bugged and does not work as it does on PC. If this deliberate or is the mission bugged? Is this mission going to be fixed in an update.

Apparently on PC the illithid points to a gate and you maximise points by smashing that gate next. This does not occur on Xbox One and the only way to gold seems to be to be very quick on all 3 phases.

Will there be an update addressing this or is the mission as is.

I got* gold in it today. It's not bugged

I have gold too many times but i assure you it is bugged. focus 1 gate at a time and you need very high bronze or low silver in phase 1 for a final gold rank, no clue of/when it will be fixed though but gold on phae 1 itself is impossible

I've had overall gold but the first section is bugged. Managed to scrape silver a few times and almost gold in the first section.

I know the achievement is possible. Finding it hard to find a good group. Even those who say they know what to do seem to stuff something up.

I guess I was hoping for an official answer on whether the mission on the Xbox One is as the developers intended or if they will be making a change.

You never get official answers from the devs via the forums. Even then you shouldn't believe it til you see it. (coal ward anyone?)

If you go to each door you'll notice that one of the Intellect Devourers has a purple line coming from it. This is the door you need to get the Hulk to Smash. Problem is the line can change just before the Hulks appear so you're dashing to the door.

This is a theory too as there doesn't seem to be anything else to indicate what door to go for.....

They really need to have a patch on this, i mean i did a ETOS with a group tonight, we MELTED the dungeons, yet when going on throne, best we could do is getting short of silver by a milimeter on phase 3, and even tough getting gold on both other 2 phases... SILVER ONLY

And phase 2, we actually got it by 3 seconds, and we where a pretty good DPS group?? I smell fishy... seriously the madness variant of prophecy is such a pain to do in term of gameplay, yet i managed to get gold easily in it, its not normal

It must pick and choose which groups to give Gold too I guess. I have run it probably 20 times now and have gotten GOLD each time

The annoying part is you can't choose which version of the skirmish you get - defend the clerics is a lot easier, I've gotten all gold there a few times. The one with the doors just doesn't make sense as I've been in groups that've dropped all doors very quickly with no misses. Yes, I could be missing something but if I am the skirmish certainly doesn't help as there's no explanation as to what that could be.

Right now, i tried it with a good group, got gold easily on phase 2 and 3. Yet it seem we can't miss ONE single hulk in phase 1, cause if we do it give us bronze... i mean BRONZE !! Why would the thing be that hard? Why not reward at least silver for a 1 or 2 misses. And how are we supose to get gold? If not a single miss mean silver. And like i said we MELT phase 2 and 3, so its not a matter of DPS.

Please ARC fix that skirmishes, its getting very annoying for us...

WOW silver-gold-gold and nothing, while another guy i know got gold with this same setting. I swear this is something fishy with this !!!

Does he point to the doors? I'd read this before and also seen images of what looks like Illithitich (why are all the damn names so hard in this game!) pointing but he doesn't seem to do that on the Xbox version. If he does it's not very clear....

That is the PC version. We do not have him pointing anywhere.

He does face one direction, which kind of gives you a 50/50 chance. But yeah, keep an eye on the Devourer behind the door and he should start firing a purple line at the prisoners inside. This is the one that needs breaking down asap.

Pats is well known for this type of empty boast, I'm surprised he hasn't said he gets an armored axe beak every time he opens a lock box yet.

I can't tell for PC but the xbox version is really shady, they need to have this adressed and fix in a near patch. The worst insult is there maintenance every week that does nothing. Oh they found an issue...blabla, extend maintenance but i never see any fix or such for us.

I actually noticed a quest trail for the right door for the first time yesterday - me & a friend were teamed & we tried to aim the hulks at the right door & were successful most of the time but still scored just shy of silver...

The questlines do nothing. Go to a different door and you will see questlines.

We just did one right here, we melted phase 2 and 3, like with almost a min left on the timer in phase 2, boss died so quick too. But phase 1, the hulks didn't even wanted to cooperate, they kept bugging like running in an invisible wall in front of the door and such stuff... Like cmon... but even if they didn't... sure it would had been a fail anyway.

What Arc need to do is if you get Gold on phase 2 and 3, its an auto gold... thats it. That woud solve the problem.
