Scheduled maintenance 2/16 at 7AM PT

Just out of interest, what do the developers actually do during these marathon weekly maintenance sessions? The reason I ask is that we seem to experience and suffer from exactly the same problems as we did the previous week after each maintenance session.

Still offline? I can get to the character screen but then it says retrieving list of maps or something like that after that time out to connect to game server

uh no. read the other things he wrote. and attacking me for rightly calling out sexism is also part of the problem. protectionist in the right to subjugate women. Other types of ism's are widely accepted to NOT be ok.. yet this persists. it's NOT ok.

I actually don't think there's any "sexism" to speak of in Neverwinter.

there is. the way women are depicted in this game is very bad. I put up with it but It irks me.

after nearly 5 hrs. of maintenance, i still have massive login problems and when i can login (after 10 trys or more), cant connect to the gameserver atm.

what have you done in this 5 hrs.??

Figures, all I wanted to do was sit on my couch, drink a gratuitous amount and kill things. So, cheetos and pornhub it is, which, btw, is starting a save the whales campaign, so get to it boys and girls, save them flippers.

Did people really bring sexism against women into this? Come call me when women are sent to their deaths as much men, or they lose custody of their children in custody battles for no good reason at ridiculous level, are sent to prison for the same crime for longer times, aren't allowed to have support groups in many places despite having the higher suicide rate, etc., etc.

whatever happened to being aggravated about the game not being up? How about we let everyones pissing contest be directed towards the cause of the angst, rather than issues that in the long term, aren't going to be solved even remotely by discussing on a maintenance thread for an online game. wow. you make no sense whatsoever and yes men can also be objectified in the media but no where near the extent women are. men are often depicted in "normal" standards. women very rarely are. and I am not a male. I do not think women are weak and pathetic and standing up for wanting to see less objectification of women in industries like this (Where it just reinforces negative stereotypes, causing a whole host of spin off problems in society) hardly suggests that I think women are weak and pathetic. however all of your arguments do. and as far as black people. NO, that was my point. it is racism that causes those things. just like it's sexism that causes many problems for women.

its white male (and really just male leaving all colors out of it) privilege that is the problem.

and yes women should be able to wear what they want.. but at the same time in a game like this. it's men putting scantily clad outfits on women in inappropriate situations. I think I'll go into battle in this HAMSTER costume. uh huh. that will work out great!
