Cannot transport player container resolved - now no quests

A couple of weeks ago, I was stuck in Whispering Caverns due to the "Cannot transport player container" bug. I was moved to Protectors Enclave.
Now when I go back to Whispering Caverns, NPCs are not giving me quests. Spinward rise is too difficult, and I can't get quests there so I can't advance.
Advanced a couple more levels with dungeons and skirmishes, but still can't do anything.
I reported to support (Ticket Reference # 160128-002371) and was told that this may be an unreported gameplay bug.
