Cryptic/PW's mind is made up on the Ward/RP/Tradebar Store issue, I'm sure. Let's move past that and discuss where to go in the future. I'd like to propose changes to allow us to earn these things in other ways.
Can we have a way to create Coalescent and Preservation Wards through professions? It doesn't have to be cheap, quick or easy, it just needs to be possible. As an example, it could take 20 Preservation Wards and 5 Unified Elements to make one Coalescent Ward. Have them Bind to Account.
Can we have more varied ways of potentially winning Coalescent Wards, Preservation Wards and Blood Rubies through playing content? Add them to the Tiamat and Demogorgon chest pools, for example. Have these Bind to Character. Give Tiamat a better chance of dropping them and people might even start running it again.
I'm sure there are other ways to reintroduce Wards and Rubies back into the game in an acceptable format. Let's brainstorm on it, see if we can win them over with our alternatives.
Note: There are other threads to throw toys out of prams and stuff like that, so shall we try and keep this one constructive, please?
Cheers

Reduce Zen price for coals to 500?
Change Weapon/Armor enchantments so you can refine shards and lessers with preservation wards (50% chance on shards & 25% chance on lessers going to standards)
Massively increase the drop rate on wards from invokes - I've had 1 in 10 months.

Like almost everyone i was mad that they didn't put wards back in the tradebar shop. I don't understand why they didn't put them back for the original price, but i do understand why they didn't put them in for a reduced price. And after a couple of days of thinking about it, i am actually glad that they didn't (reduced price).
If the wards would have been more widely avalible, creating weapon and armor enchantments would have been a lot easier, meaning the prices on said enchants will drop drastically. That would lead to said enchants become a more basic boost to your gear, opposed to being a boost you have to kinda work for. And for that said enchants basically are to powerfull. They would have to respec them, and everyone will even be more pissed off.
Thats why i very much like the idea of making the either obtainable through professions, weekly missions, or any other way you have to put in work in stead of your credit card numbers.
