Any TRs use Valindra's set?

I was thinking about it for the control and control resist bonuses, but the +2 Int/Char kinda sucks.

    Uh, don't do it. If you want to go the control route, go scoundrel. That way, you don't have to sacrifice lostmauth set damage.

    imho, o'course.
    set itself, on it's own - not much of a value, really. +2 INT/CHA acntually can be good for some builds, still - no challenge with Lostmauth.
    Therefore, as a saboteur, i've thought about will-o-wisp + cantebrous(?) mage + valindra + 5th tiranny boon... m9 campaign boon, perhaps. Why. Well, what d'you think about SB 4th rank with all those +% CC? ;) CC-immune, yes, but SB not just CC, more "ticks" - more damage.
    you can always try it out, for *your own purposes*. In case of DD, party-play and so on - well, that's other thing.

    Generally speaking, don't bother using Valyndra's if you can't get your CC bonus in total of over 60% or so. The 15% itself isn't noticeable in any practical sense.
    Stop making excuses. Be a man.
    If you know something to be broken, stop using it.
    Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'

    Seems like a waste. Smoke bomb is your only control skill. And Oppressive Darkness if you have the artifact power.
