Armor Preview & Transmog of items between classes

Hello All,

I brought this up in the PC forum, but wanted to drop it here too for feedback.

So I was dabbling in the armor previewer to see what I was going to do with my GWFs gear, as I have been transmoging my gear to look the same since I started playing and I wanted to see what else was out there (Ermagurd Thay Armor).

As I was going through the previewer I happened to select an item for a TR in the Wonderous Bazaar that looked absolutely AMAZING on my GWF. Kind of had a huntsman look to it with my main hand transmoged to a Dragon Bone Halberd, which kind of opened a whole new door in the area of immersive customization for your char to fit your own theme or backstory (if you're that kinda nerd. I am =P).

Sadly of course, the transmog is available for preview but cannot actually be transmoged to my armor as it is a TR armor and I am a GWF.

Now, I only tested this with a piece of TR armor I picked up for 4AD on the AH, but I would assume the results would be the same on that particular piece from the wonderous bazaar as it requires the TR class.

What do you think? Would it be cool if certain armor pieces could be cross transmoged between classes?

My Cleric friend would love that,but it would cause some disarray in pvp matches when ya think you are fighting a gwf come to find out its a gf with gwf transmute or a tr with hr clothing. :P

Thats true, but the character animations would still be the same. I can see where it could cause some issues though for sure, but would be be any different than multiple people wearing the same fashion set, which does not show the weapon(s) type at all until the run or attack animation is used.

Can't remember the other ways that were suggested. Your characters stance also changed to that of another class when using armor from other classes for transmutation. I play a CW and TR stuff along with GWF stuff really looks good and the stance/motion does too.

This is pretty awesome as well. I could see them not going with the stance changes simply because that would cause some issues in PvP when you think you're going against a CW and it turns out to be a Hr just as an example. Though being able to transmog certain weapons to look like others would be neat.
