Critical chances reduced in parties?

So i have about 40-50% crit chance which means i should always crit half the time? Well i do solo but when i suddenly run a dungeon my crit seems like it was reduced by like 30% and i'm seeing way more yellows (i hate yellow

) than orange. Is it because someone else with like same crit as me or higher in the party steal my crit!? It's either that or was hit in the head too hard by a giant. I feel cheated

If you're doing levelling dungeons your stats get reduced to match the level

No not leveling dungeons, the end game ones. I just don't seem to crit that much in parties

There are plenty (skills/powers) that can't crit, damage floaters are not a good indicator.
If you want to check it in any meaningful way, save the combatlog (chat command line: /combatlog 1)
and then parse it in act for easier readability.
