Crafting rare and epic items in Jewelcrafting

It seems that the developers have removed the ability to craft rare and epic items (Bezel Pushers, Jeweler Loupe) in Jewelcrafting. Is this a temporary thing?

I just noticed this as well. Searched the forums and apparently has been an issue for a while according to PC forums. No fix from what I saw in my searches. Another push for us to have to buy profession boxes in hopes of purple jewelcrafting tools.

Has to be a glitch. This is the 1st I've been aware of it. I just checked 4 myself, & they're gone. They're suppose to be at level 3 & 4 respectively. I know they used to be there bc I've upgraded them b4. That means there's no way to upgrade lower levels 2 higher levels. Not sure why they would remove them...I can't think of a reason of how someone would be cheating simply by upgrading an item, & potentially selling it. All of the other professions have there's where they're suppose 2 be. It's just Jewelcrafting that's gone. As expected...another glitch. Hopefully it's just a glitch, & not permanent

I think it happened when they turned on the Alchemical Extravaganza event, hopefully it will "repair" itself on Monday when that's over...

Didn't think about that. Could be. The only thing is is this event uses Alchemy things, not Jewelcrafting. Who knows anymore with this game...lol

the crucible is in common with alchemy and jewelry

It worked last week. As said before it'll probably be fixed once the festival is undone.

So, I just checked now that the event is over, & as mentioned above, it was the event that took them away. Everything is back 2 normal
