Arp Vs. YOU! (Competitive PvP)

wid0werwid0wer Member Posts: 9 Arc User
Before I start, let me just clarify that I am a Devotion Paladin (Light, 3.6k iLevel) who has just started playing with a static PvP team. I am the least geared and effectively trying to prove myself to my veteran team mates. Currently geared exclusively for PvP, Lionsmane, 2.6k tenacity, 16k Power, 11k Defense, transcendent thingies. So still lots to improve. Sometimes it feels like I am the only Devo on the XBox One server so I have decided to ask in the PC forums...

Underdark is out on 9th Feb. Guilds are starting to catch up with their Strongholds, Arp boons, Axebeak mounts and mega stacking of Arp seems to be the norm with DPS classes. I met a duet of Rogues with 20k+ Arp each the other day (ggrrrr!) and I have never had to play so defensively as I did then. I didn't die, but I did find myself calling for support much earlier than I usually do which disrupted our mojo. We scraped the win and now we jest about how I cried like a beaten puppy for support lol. My question is: should I be worried? How did you guys deal with all this seemingly easy Arp that is available now. Do I need to lose some power? Lose my neck/rings/belt for tenacity gear? Something I can work towards when UDark arrives? Any advice would be most welcome.

Thanks in advanced for your contributions.

As a Paladin you should be increasing your hitpoints, Recovery, Power and Defense as a whole. I haven't met a lot of "Good" Paladins that are stacking Armor penetration to 20k.

I have met some that have moderate ArP with the Owl bear that hit pretty hard, but again, most of them survive the onslaught of 5-6 people beating on them for minutes.
I may not be considered by most the BEST PVP Warlock on the server but, I am the most HATED amongst them.
