Cryptic, apart from an employee leaving announcement you have been conspicuous only by the silence.
It doesn't take a games guru to be aware of other games - your direct competition - being launched.
Indeed, one is imminent.
Players reading up on mmo news will see developer updates, content/class additions for various other games. Every one of these enticing players to try, or return, to that particular game.
So Cryptic, what have you got to say?
Do you have any schedules for class reworks that you have previously said "are being looked at"?
Do you have any timetable for fixing long standing bugs?
For bringing back dungeons?
For quality of life improvements away from this interminable grinding with limited content?
In fact, do you have a schedule for anything associated with the game? This isn't being funny here. Players have left and will continue to leave unless something, anything, can be published - with actual planned dates for implementation. Not just a 'something possibly in the pipeline for sometime' response.
You must have planning meetings, project timescales, prioritization of class and content actions. My request is simple - publish these.
Don't treat the players that are still here as simply wallet fodder. These players have shown tremendous loyalty in the face of increased competition and to be perfectly honest, a pretty woeful output level from at least Mod 6 onwards. Some would go back even further.
To me, this isn't an unreasonable request, not by any means.
What I do see as unreasonable is the expectation that the current level of game management will prevent ongoing player decline.
