Constant Crashing when switching characters

This is getting annoying to the point of WTF..
I will moving along smoothly.. running a cahracert or two.. then WHAM..
server timeout when trying to sign on a different character.
tracking bar fill ups about 90% ful.. stops... then server timeout.
Its like the last server jump to actually fill in the character data loses the request.. then times out..
Anyone else having same issue?
