Winter Wolf Speed

Simply put - Zen market (on Gateway) shows the mount to have an 80% speed increase, the tooltip says 50%. Which is it?

    50%. It's slow as molasses. It's no faster than a generic white horse you buy but for a pittance of gold.

    What a rip... I just knew they weren't going to give everyone 80% mounts, too good to be true.

    I've gotten 2 Dappled White Horses, 1 Apparatus of Gond (Epic Mount) a Throne of Boo and a Doohickey not counting the respec tokens, which I expected more of but a ton of pres wards. I only managed to claim the free Winter Wolf last year and didn't hve time for anything else but all said an done this hs been a great gaming Xmas for me and I am very happy.

    So after all is said an done I am very happy I got to participate in this event and wish Cryptic, who isn't perfect we know, all the best fo the New Year :)

    I got one of these as well this year--but after other cool mounts I'd procured, including a Stag (from tarmalune TB) and the Demonic Sled (had;;to..upgrade) I sold it in the end. I'll shoot myself later.

    I'm keeping the gelded Winter Wolf, since it was bind on pickup, but itisn't something I'm willing to upgrade, or even ride. They should allow salvaging of no longer needed mounts since they are BTC. I don't understand why we can't do horse trading--except that it keeps people buying new....

    How can it be "a rip" if it's free? Anyway, you could have gotten an 80% speed mount (water horse) during the summer event, for free...
