Guild Name: The Roleplayer Asylum

While many, probably the majority, of players present themselves with their adorned gear and great skills as an uber mmorpg gamer, I propose a completely different approach to presenting yourself. I do not want to click View and know who you are by item level and rank of artifacts, but I'd like to know you by hearing or reading about your character's history and biography. Character development for my guild isn't the increased item level or campaign boon completion, but the increased stories and adventures you share.

I am looking for members who love the Forgotten Realm novels and book series. They like to read the Dungeons and Dragons player manuals and guides. They want to share their personal and emotional experiences of Forgotten Realm media by conveying their own character within the game of Neverwinter. They like reading character histories more than inspecting the character's gear. In my mind, these are the best players in the game for without them there wouldn't be the fans which make games like Neverwinter happen.

Questing for my members isn't about getting the kill and hurrying back for the experience points. It's a shared experience with another player who enjoys the environment and the thrill of being part of Faerun's daily activities. Or, a shared experience with the Non-Player Charcters (NPC) of the game. For, an NPC is the connection between the player's hero and becoming part of Faerun's destiny.

Is this a 100% roleplaying guild? No, but I suspect anyone who wants to join with me will probably have a love of roleplaying and will become part of an active forum of roleplaying. Yes, the Moonstone Mask is a wonderful place for roleplaying, but there's a million other places in the Forgotten Realms which offer much more lively experiences.

I am a Founder of this game and have played since the first day of closed beta. I have created 12 level 70 characters and know the game inside and out. I have been active in 6 different awesome guilds of this current Neverwinter and know what made them work smoothly.

I reverently played Neverwinter on AOL, Neverwinter 1 and Neverwinter 2.
