Twisted Weapons become bound to char.

I had a strange thing happening to me.
I got the twisted weapons set for one of my toons, refined them, transuted them, equiped them and they are still bound do account.
I got the twisted weapons set for another one of my toons, refined them, transuted them, equiped them and then I noticed they became bound do char.
Anyone has an idea of what could make them get bound to char?

    Did you obtain both set the same way? i.e. drop vs bought.

    On the char that has the bound account set, one piece droped, and the other one was bought. On the char were the items became bound to char I bought the 2 pieces.

    Perhaps you refined with BTC refinement items? Just a thought, I don't know this would happen, but I've been curious. I' am working on a twisted set for an alt.

    Edit: Just saw you transmuted them also. Was the transmute BTC?

    Any transmute will bind the item to character

    I refined all of them with my previous weapons (bound to char) and used bound to char rp on all of them.
    Maybe the transmutes were the problem. On the char that still has bound account weapons, I used a transmute from lockboxes and another one from CTAs, on the toon that had the weapons became bound to char I used transmutes from Sharandar which i think they are bound to char.
    Need to ask some ppl in game to see if they got their weapons bound to char when using transmutes from Sharandar.

    But I transmuted all of them, and not all got bound to char. Maybe it's the "bindness" of the transmute causing the problem.

    It's unusual, possibly a bug that if you transmuted something it wasn't bound, the standard rule is if you transmute/dye any item it's previous status is overwritten and that item is bound to character. So you may have discovered a bug, but not in the way you were hoping.
    After rereading it it sounds like the transmutes bind status may play a part

    What really sucks is, you'll be told by CS that you should have known better, or watched for a message, or something else that should have clearly told you what was going to happen....all of which may or may not have been possible.

    Most likely, you used a BtC Transmute and that caused the issue.

    Talked to some friends in game, and those who used transmutes from Sharandar (bound to char) got their weapons bound to char. Looks like the type of boundness of transmute can affect or not the boundness of the weapons.
