I got a lathander bounf to account last week, hoping to refine and use it in my alt toon, then after refining it to my surprise it was turned into bound to character. If that is supposed to be that way, then why making it account bound once dropped?. Disappointing, ridiculous and delusory if not treacherous, but thats your style to fool ur community; i guess i was expecting too much of it.

When you try to refine any artifact the game gives you a warning message saying it will bind it to the toon.
Maybe you were too eager to start refining it and didn't read the warning ?
You should have first transferred it to the toon you wanted to use it for, then refine it.
Don't worry, you'll eventually pull one more out of the coffers.
Cheers
When I was refining the artifact the idea that it would bind crossed my mind, but when I droped some rp on in and didn't get a warning message I though it was safe to refine, but no. Eye of Lathander binds to char when refining and no warning message!
Move the refining stuff there and upgrade...
Question? Why is this artifact BtA when Lostmauth is BtE? Is it because it is a mini dungeon not a 'real' dungeon? Are there other artifacts that are drops (not lockbox artifacts, but dungeon/content drops) that are BtA?
A moderately powerful (2k-2.5k, depending) character doesn't need all that long to blitz through one of those lairs solo. A couple of minutes, tops. So go in, blitz the boss, check for eye. No eye, no claim. Buy lair key, blitz another lair, hope for eye again. With no other sources for the eye, prices will stabilize around the point where the dedicated (let's call them "bots") can blitz DR lairs continuously until they get the eye and make a reasonable profit. Their only obstructions are the non-AD costs on the extra keys, and some bots have a *lot* of that stuff in reserve--and some of it gets replenished by the boss chest. Bots with lots of extra character slots may be able to just run a large number of characters through their free daily lair.
It's simply *too* farmable.
