Elven Battle Gliches (after patch)

1. Log into any lv 70 character.
2. Once in go to a open world PvP zone
3. Epuip your Elven Battle enchanment.
4. Instruct a Hunter Ranger with Strong Grasping Roots to shoot you once Constricting Arrow, Binding Arrow, or Hindering Strike. It doesn't matter if they have crushing roots or not.
5. Once hit observe your combat log and watch your health tick away past 5 secs till your dead or almost.

Expected Result: Player breaks out of the Strong Grasping Root immediately and takes damage for 4 to 5 secs or takes 250% weapon damage due to being immune.

Result: Player breaks out of the Strong Grasping Root immediately and then takes damage from a SINGLE move untill dead or almost for 28 to 30 secs.

*These tests were done using Transcendent Elven Battle and Perfect Elven Battle.

This is a known issue with elven battle enchantments.

This probably belongs in the feedback forum, but kudos for taking the time to actually post repro steps, theres always a much greater chance of a fix actually happening when you take the extra time.

If anyone including a HR gets blasted with strong grasping roots they are dead.

The fix nerfs HR not because they can't perma-bleed people to death, but because TEB now causes Thorned Roots to only tick once or twice instead of 5-6 times, so DPS is greatly decreased especially against classes like TR.

I'm going to do a test of my own to confirm one way or the other to see if there is in fact a difference with the new mod.

lots of ppl in the game on xb1 mention that the TEB is not fixed.

The new thing I have noticed whenever I try to Forest Ghost its stops the movement boost half way through its duration. Anyone else have a issue with it with your class?

I use a Trans Elven Battle... but I do not use Forest Ghost so I have never actually noticed that.

Give it a shot seems to do that not sure why though.lol I like ghost if I need to get out of a jam or pick someone up.
