So now level 70 - what now? HELP

So now I have reached level 70 and I do not understand how it goes on.. The message says Oh how wonderful I am now 70 and now I can/must do all these Epic dungeons with lots of players etc. I cannot find those epic dungeons. Anyway, I am a player who also likes to solo so is that the end now of any solo activity?
Also, I got this new level 70 weapon and now I cannot transfer my enchantments into that new weapon it says "unlocks at a higher artifact rank", whatever that means. Does it mean I must upgrade the enchantments I already have? I don't want to go all out spending all my stuff to upgrade those only to find out they are not good any longer.
Also, up to what level would I have to upgrade stuff to be "a higher artifact rank", I mean, what a stupid vague instruction/message!

Anyway, I am now stuck, do I carry on doing my old daylies, find a new game or what

    You need to unlock sharandar and dreadring ..you can also go to Well of dragons and icewind dale(these 2 are very difficult).

    To do the dungeons just press L and select a dungeon and queue. I would recomend starting with a skirmish the Kessel retreat one is not to difficult for newly lvl 70 and is really fun

    I believe most of the lvl 70 Content (IWD and WOD) are to hard for players with an Item Level below 2400 So i would recommend working to get there ASAP
    There are more than BIS players in this game

    FORCING the majority of your player base to play 4 mod old dungeons and trial will have a bad result on player base
    Changes are getting so bad i would rather prefer no new changes (RIP ICE FISHING in winter fest)

    "A higher artifact rank" means your artifact needs to be a higher rank. It starts at rank 1 and you then refine it and as you do, it's rank will increase. You can see the artifacts current rank simply by looking at it. Towards the top of the tool tip it will have the Rank. IIRC arifacts need to be at least orange for the extra enchantment slot to open.

    I tried to put even a purple enchantment of level 8 into the level 70 weapon and it keeps saying 'wrong enchantment'

    There are weapon enchantments, armor enchantments, "regular" enchantments, and companion rune stones. Additionally, there are certain enchantments that only go into equipment with "utility slots", like dragon's hoard enchantments.

    What type of enchantment are you trying to slot, and where are you trying to slot it?

    Artifact weapons have three slots, two white ones for "normal" enchants and a purple one for weapon enchants. To start with only one of the normal slots is unlocked (i.e. can be used). When you refine the artifact weapon up to level 15 (blue) the weapon enchantment slot will be unlocked. The second normal slot won't unlock until the artifact weapon is refined up to level 60 (orange). You'll also get some stat increases as you refine to higher levels, but the significant stuff happens at levels 15/35/60 when it becomes a new "color".

    The game was already made very hard to solo players since Mod 6.
    The game made solo players garbage since Stronghold.

    Yes, Solo content ends with Elemental Evil. Yes, that's the end of your solo activity.

    Not only that, you need to join a guild. And not only do you need to join a guild, you need to join a very high rank guild, or else there are a lot of activities you can't experience and a lot of items you can't obtain and make.
