Returning player enquiry- salvagables

Greetings comrads;

I have been away since just after mod 6 arrived but managed to level to 70. I play pretty much solo
with the time I do have available and enjoy obtaning salagables as a means to obtain ADs. At this point in things can one solo for salvagables?

I read in a recent post that salavagables can be obtained from demon HEs. Where can one find these HEs and are they soloable as a TR in legendary with a dash of mythic gearing?

Are there other areas where salvagables can be consitently found?

With the bit of time i do have I enjoy this route as a means to experience a successful hunt and appreciate any guidance re this.

Yes, I was also wondering if the game still was trying to herd solo players out of solo. Thanks

Yea, the game is not very solo friendly anymore. All AD rewards are tied to group content, dungeons, skirmishes, and PVP. You can earn some rewards from HEs but most cant be soloed unless you are already excessively geared. You only real options are to pug dungeons, follow the hoard as they farm HEs, or join a guild to do stronghold dailies.

Demonic HEs give better rewards when there are enough players to trigger Gold status, but I consider fighting them a solo activity -- in the sense that you don't need to group, and no one can see your contribution and yell at you for being low dps or whatever. So it's really a low-stress activity for me, same as soloing campaign quests.

Just turn on zone chat long enough to find the zone with a large number of people running the demon HEs, then turn it off and run with the crowd.
