Glimmerstone Mines problem

In the Glimmerstone Mines, my companions and sometime the bad guys will just disappear. I don't need my companions to do the missions there, but it would speed things up. Nor did I need any of the bad guys who disappeared. I feel like there's a party going on and I'm not invited.

Update--It's Goldseeker's Folly not the Glimmerstone Mines. And Razor Maw did disappear on me last time, but I found him and all the other baddies (and my companion) standing by the front door.

It's a bug that's been around for a while, and it's not limited to that map. If you level up a new character, the same thing happens in the Xorlarrin Outpost in Whispering Caverns (at the large rectangular room with the priestess at the altar and the spiderlings along the sides).
