Wiki Says Crowd Control Ability Affects Combat Advantage. Does that increase its Damage?

I was looking at Boons, and noticed some Boons increase Crowd Control Ability. Example: the WoD Boon that gives +10% Control Ability.
As a TR it would make my smoke bomb, and other control effects last longer, but according the wiki Combat Advantage is classified as a control ability as well. It is the first thing listed under Crowd Control "Combat Advantage - Gives a damage bonus, usually dependent on placement of players or enemies, but can also be granted by certain powers." (http://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Crowd_Control)

But it doesn't elaborate on how increasing CC affects it.

I have no idea. Combat Advantage isn't a control effect. It's a state. You're either granting combat advantage or you're not.

It looks like the Wiki entry is just talking about "Crowd Control" in general, and not the actual Control stat...since a lot of those effect listed wouldn't really apply.

If you need a good reference, look at the tooltip for Transcendent Elven Battle. Those are the effects that Control Bonus/Resist generally apply to.

Well, I decided it might be worthwhile even as a Rogue to take the Boons that increase CC duration. So, if they happen to make my Combat Advantage better in some way i'l be pleased as punch

Combat advantage is not a Crowd control, it's a state who can be activate by few crowd control abilities.

Hm, ok, but is it still ok for a TR to take the boons that increase CC?
