Lostmauth's Hoard Necklace vs. Greater Cloak of Black Ice

Have a question regarding gear. I see many elite OPs that use the Lostmauth's Hoard Necklace, but i recently found a Greater Cloak of Black Ice (Blue) in a resurgence pack. It appears the only difference is the second slot is offensive on the cloak.

What's everyone's opinion on the two? I have the Greater Plated Constitution Belt, so don't think I'll be getting the 3 piece set bonus from either, at least anytime soon.

I'd sell it. They're going for 200k AD. You can just get any of the AP gain necks if you're not going for a set bonus (Valindra's is the cheapest).

Thanks, I'll probably do that. If I did decide to go for the set, is the Lostmauth set hand's down the better one?

It's a DPS set. If you're fine with the damage you're dealing just going with a cheaper option will save you a lot of AD and let you use a belt with stats you need.

The only reason I chose the Lostmauth necklace for my pally personally was because I already had it drop from lostmauth on an different toon and it had armor pen on it. Black Ice is perfectly fine if you have it- at least in my opinion as it is identical in stat. I find it kind of challenging to get good stats on pally tank gear since Regeneration and Armor pen are on the same gear and regen is a serious waste of a stat on an OP tank. (Not really taking heavy damage solo or needing much in the way of healing).The other armor choices gives pretty good recovery even if it is the restoration gear for devotions~ Greater Belt of con gives armor pen and I was fortunate enough to get a thayan book of the dead and use a gwf sigil to finish up my search for arp. I wanted to get to -60% RI as quick as possible so I could get max effect from Templar's wrath against bosses. I didn't have open offense slots for Dark enchants since I'm stacking so many silvery enchants for recovery stat. My crit on my pally is not very high at around 30% since I didn't take much wisdom mostly charisma on my attributes. Lostmauth set on a pally tank seems wasteful to me. Aura of courage doesn't crit to my knowledge and HP and Con ad to that damage as I understand it. Not enough crits to make Lostmauth's vengence viable from what I have experienced in my own build.
