Legendary Ring Drops

I've been doing Epic Demongorgon and Demongorgon for awhile now. I haven't even been in a party where a Legendary Ring has dropped for anyone, nor have I run into anyone who claims to have one.

First, make the drops a bit higher. Once I reach 20 twisted ichor, I'll stop doing epic, because there won't be a reason. I'll get my ichor cache and move on.

2nd, at the same time as improving the drop rate a bit, make the legendary rings bind on equip. Let me farm these. If you want people to continue doing the content, letting people farm something of high value will help to solve that problem. They may have to grind, but at least there will be a point. Especially since there are 8 types a ring. In the minute chance I actually get a ring, I then have to hope I get 2 of the 8 or so that I actually would use. LET ME FARM these.

Otherwise, I'll just sit back and wait for some Mastercraft Jewelry guy to start selling legendary rings. What's the point of the content. The twisted ichor will be pointless, and I feel like I have no chance to actually get something good. I only need so many +1 rings to salvage.

    I've run into one person that had the +5 power ring. IIRC a GWF named FLOW, he said he got it from running a lot of eDemo.

    Drop rate is ridiculously low though. I want the crit ring and running PoM is driving me up a wall. If they have no intention of increasing the drop rate I'd definitely like to see them BoE.

    The new legandary rings are kinda the same that Masterwork profession, just something that they added to tease the player but implemented in a way the players will never have it. If you don't want to be teased just ignore those rings because you are not going to get them.

    I got the +5 Crit ring from PoM on the firs day of the Mod Release but haven't seen anyone else with one. One really nice thing is it remains Bound to Account even after you equip it. I hope that is a new feature and not a bug with this new equipment.

    I actually have gotten a few of these rings now. They are all bind to account. All of them I have gotten have been from Prophecy of Madness. If I was to off of my runs alone I'd say the drop rate is about 2%. I farmed the Heck out of Prophecy and I can tell you there are several member of my guild with at least one of the legendary rings. Typically the guys who run the new content 5+ times a night have a legendary within a week from those whom I've spoken with. Not all of them have gotten them some of the people have done it 5+ times a night for 2 weeks now and don't have one, but typically speaking.

    Once I got enought Twisted Ichor, I switched from E Demo (typically blue rings) to the skirmishes (often purple rings.) I wouldn't be surprised if that's where the legendaries pop up more often.

    Note that not all the rings drop in all instances. Some are instance specific (no clue why....seriously).

    All of the rings are instance specific. It might be worth checking collections. Heroic encounters can drop any type of ring, but the drop rates and rarity levels are generally lower.

    Why would you want them to not be instance specific? That would just make the RNG worse than it is already : |

    That helps you get the ring you want, but the grind for them is still insane. HEs only reward up to +3, but frankly it doesn't even matter since almost every time the end result for a skirmish/raid is a +1 or +2.

    the reward is definitely not based on ranks.
    golds gives +1 rings 90% of the times.
    the drop rates of legendary rings are not low, they are lower than low. its kinda pointless to keep farming skirmishes and edemogorgon if after 200 skirms and 60 e-demo i have yet to see one of those

    Right, not saying it isn't! lol

    Just saying a write up that's available in one place, say the NW Wiki would be good for people to reference. :)

    Demogorgon (epic and normal):
    • Ring of Vanishing Presence
    • Ring of Impenetrability
    • Ring of Vision
    • Ring of Brutality
    • Ring of Rising Defense
    • Ring of Ambush

    Prophecy of Madness:
    • Ring of Reflex Sight
    • Ring of Natural Order
    • Ring of the Fortress
    • Ring of Rising Focus
    • Ring of Rising Power
    • Ring of Rising Precision

    Throne of the Dwarven Gods:
    • Ring of Cowardice
    • Ring of Rising Fortitude
    • Ring of Rising Deflect
    • Ring of Sieging
    • Ring of Charging Bull

    I have never seen a +5 ring... I have 4 +4s in my 3 in the bank and one I use, I have salvaged at least 2.

    Yeah I'm still (kinda) tempted to farm POM but the drop rate seems abysmal :neutral:
    Not to mention that it's by far the most boring Skirmish ever created within the game.

    It's almost like the dev's know that many folks want the crit ring and troll us adding them in this terribly made skirmish.

    just saw +5 of Impenetrability 4 hrs ago, from eDemo run, few players saw on chat while in demo zone, others missed when they got rewards and left.

    The list above is slightly incorrect. The ring of rising power drops in demo and edemo not PoM.

    BTW I have a +5 ring of cowardice, as does one of my Guild Brothers
