help for a newbie

So I'm still very new to the game and after leveling a couple classes to mid 20s have finally decided to stick with a paladin. I know the protector side has the bubble skill that everyone is wanting and asking for in groups. The devotion and healing side seemed more appealing to me though. Am I going to be forced into playing the protector side though for end game stuff. I have no friends who play this game and the guild that recruited me was some random invite and I still haven't talked to any of them yet. So I don't want to not be put into a group, or kicked from a group because I chose the wrong path. Advice?

the bubble is good due to the protection it provides and also the glitch where with the lagging glitch, when u spam the bubble you are able to repel some of the damages back to the ads and make the dungeon run much more easier. healing is good as u can b a healer if there's no healer on ur group and u can spam unlimited heals loop to keep ur team alive and on the healer tree it will give you an increase of % of the AP when you use heal encounter. well u r more than welcome to join our guild Symmetry as we have a lot of good pve players that do dungeon all day and we are able to blend and work with any class and their class mechanic. let me know in the game if you want an invite. my GT: FatalEvening165

Yeah look a for a guild that doesn't care about the small stuff. Variety is the spice of life. There's 8 classes so if there was 8 of the same character with the same spec running around things would get very boring.

On that note, if players weren't charged for respecs you'd see all kinds of experimental builds going on - things would be much more interesting.

But yes s4v10rx is right that being in a friendly & active guild is the key - you should take him up on his offer. An active guild makes a huge difference to your time in NW.

Hey guys I've been a week one player since NW came out for Xbox one. I took a break to play the newer games at the time destiny taken King fallout blackops etc but I came bac around strong holds. Now as I'm leveling my hunger ranger to level 70 I receive a elemental evil fire main hand that I receive as a quest item. Now me thinking lol it's green and blows I crush it not knowing that it's an artifact and the main hand that would replace my golden dragon tooth that I have legendary. So my question here is am I screwed? I've tried looking around and can't seem to find a place to purchase a new elemental evil main hand anywhere yet I can buy the off hand(which I still have) for I think 12 linu favors. So does any1 have any advice? My GT is King EAGLEZ as a side note I'm looking for new never winter Xbox one friends lol have a great day and thanks for any feedback (=

you can get the elemental fire at the wells of dragons by using weels of dragons currency, my suggestion is for u to go to the wells of dragons and find out what's the requirement to get both the main and off hand elemental weapon

You cannot buy the main hand from any vendor. You can craft a new main hand in the campaign screen for TOD the same way you made your old one. It's not random anymore more for level 70 as there is only one choice. Just make sure when it is done that you select the level 70 one and not the 60's.

that's what i was telling the original poster, that the only way to get the lv70 elemental weapon will b going to wells of dragon and see the requirement from the venor on the criteria to get it.

I think you might be confused or I am misunderstanding you. There is no need to go to the Well of Dragons. It is all done from the campaign window. You need a dragon gem, a dragon bone, dragon forged steel, 6 sigils, 6 cult secret, 100 dragon hoard coins, 5 gold and 25,000 AD and 20 hours. This will make the chest and then you pick the level 70 or level 60 artifact. No vendor involved, except perhaps the AH to get some of the items.

Only the off-hand can be purchased from a vendor in the Well of Dragons.
