Earth Mote on Hearoic Encounter for Clerics

Hello guys,

SO, im TRYING to get back to the game after you know what.

QUestion is, why the HEALS and the BUFFS of CLERICS dont count to obtain the freaking earth mote at Slaad Heroic Encounter?
If my party kills the boss FAST they ALL receive the Bonus and the best loot from the HE, EXCEPT THE CLERICS!

SOme people come to the event with the boss having <50% HP AND EARN THE FRAKING MOTE.
Is ot supposed to be this way? As a cleric i cannot DPS as much as them EVEN IF I TRY SO HARD AS IM DOING NOW.

All the motes i have droped with 4 people or less doing the Heroic Encounter, so the boss could take longer to die. Right now theres more than 20 people farming earth mote and i JUST DONT DROP because the boss dies in 30 seconds!

Any solution? I already tried:
- go full heal/ buffs
- go full "dps"
- kill Slaad mobs
- Take more damage

    I'm not sure on the logic for winning the motes but if its anything like the rewards from dragons then the reward is based on damage dealt, damage received, and damage healed. What does this mean for a healer cleric?

    You favor long fights where there is more opportunity to heal. This is where you would need to favor a playing style that is not intuitive to dc personalities.... you need to be greedy. Here's some tips that may help:

    1) If your not righteous, you will never win dps so focus on heals and damage received
    2) Don't buff/debuff at all... if you can help it, use a damage daily, don't use protection and buffing dailys like Hallowed Ground
    3) Pull mobs from outside of the HE to add to the damage received and the length of the fight
    4) Don't revive anyone, the more people in the fight the quicker it ends, the walk of shame people take back to the HE will benefit you by prolonging the damage and increasing damage received by participating in parties
    5) If the HE has DOTs or areas with constant damage, stand in them and heal yourself, this increases the damage you receive and the amount healed

    Hopefully you get the point. Its not a nice way to play but if you want to win you need to lead the fight in a direction that favors your strengths. You will likely get some hate messages for not playing how everyone thinks you should. Also if your in a geared party all that may not even matter. You can move the encounter toward your skills but that doesn't mean someone else may not negate your efforts by killing fast.

    Good Luck, if it makes you feel better this is the same challenge support classes have with all content in the game. It's more difficult to farm content as a support class. I'm sure you've seen it before cws are better for farming events because they kill faster, etc.

    I wasn't getting any motes after several completions of Slaadi Invasion.     2) Forgemaster Flame
    3) Divine Glow
    4) Bastion of Health
    5) Healing Word
    6) Exaltation

    What you want to achieve is to reduce the chance of success of the other team members while maximizing your own. That means you want to focus on encounters and powers that primarily do tons of damage and stop team members from earning damage received. Astral Shield, Searing Light and Daunting Light are the only options left.

    So i finally got 100 motes after the heroic encounter was less crowded.
    Jesus there were some GWF before that was killing the boss in less than 30 seconds (!!!), so i guess that was my problem.

    If somebody has the same problem i used:
    Chains, daunting light and Forgemaster flame(never empowered). Daily Damage.
    I always put astral seal on the portals and the boss, i could see the threat increased because mobs attacked me more.

    If you happen to be AP gain DC, stay inside the Cloud and Divine Armor suddenly become your best friend.
