What constitutes an offensive character name?

Who determines what is ban worthy?

I ask because I want to make my secondary character either a halfling or dwarf named Eric The Midget after the late character from The Howard Stern Show. Can or will that get me banned? I spent upwards of $100+ on zen over the last month so I'm not interested in getting banned.

In 2015 everyone is offended over everything so who or what determines a ban?

FWIW I saw a character named "x HAMSTER PRIDE x" the other night running through the Protectors Enclave..

Anyone have any detail or info on bans via character names?

My guess is that the support staff deals with offending names by deciding appropriate actions to take in response to the reports that players file on other players. My recommendation would be to start a support ticket and ask the support staff if the name you're considering would be acceptable from their point of view. Their opinion is the one that matters the most.

Something tells me it's subjective to the person reviewing it and not using the common legal position of "would the average man in the street be likely to see it as offensive".

But yes, nightshift's answer is good but PWE Customer Service may not answer as they aren't very good at customer service.
