Dragon's Grip control bonus not working?

I just spent a considerable amount of time and resources to get the Dragon's Grip, but I don't see the effect. Shouldn't it show up in my Control Bonus stat? It's still at 0.

Clarification on control strength, which is the same as control bonus.

If you have 0 control bonus, the 15% of 0 is still 0.
Remember that control bonus is a rating (an integer, a number). Dragon's grip takes that number and add 15% to it.
