I've just got back on NW and trying to figure out what is the best range class DPS right now. Back when I played (During Icewind Dale), control wizard was practically the best. But there's been many changes since so I'm wondering what is the best right now? And also the easiest to solo level with as I don't have a guild or friends to help me level. Thanks.
SW>> Great if there is wall of Paladins, GWF, GF or any other class/player between u and mobs.. Good if u fight vs ~3 mobs. Great against multiple with TT daily. Downside - u get screwed when u go farm solo in 70 lv areas, Icewind, Well of dragons, Dread ring and etc.
SW great if u are way overgeared or u are CreditCard Warrior. << other way consider u get annoyed of multiple death even from trash mobs, while other class player even undergeared have way bigger survivability. Its up for u. SW is class for players who have nerves of steel, or don't have them at all..
