Protector Seal Cache issue

Flame me with 'Titanic Sinks' if this is already well known but there is an issue with Protector Seal cache's and stacking...

I had a Protector seal cache in my last bag slot from the day before. I ran an epic the next day and expected to see another; separate or stacked with the other; there was not one. So I opened the bag from the day before and whalla, the current day bag was there in my first bag slot.

I just happened to have the same situation on another toon and was able to record it happening there:

It would seem, any additional bags do not show up until you have opened any that in your current inventory.

Also, the tooltip says 40 still but it's now 60.

This is a known "feature" of seal caches.
At least I've already mentioned it once in this thread when contemplating hoarding these caches for the then upcoming seal count increase: http://forum.arcgames.com/neverwinter/discussion/1205930/running-dungeons-skirmishes-with-a-pug#p1

lol, I never have this issue because I open them when I get them. Is there some reason not to open them? I am pretty sure they are Character Bound.

There was a good reason a few weeks ago to hoard them since the number of seals in them was increased by 50%. But alas this didn't work as you know from this thread that they cannot be hoarded beyond 1 or 2.

Hoarding them makes sense as one can only have 1200 actual seals on any given toon. That's a problem if the bottleneck to getting Dragonflight gear is your guild not running Stronghold dragons with any regularity.

However, if it is true that you cant hold many, or more than one, that should be made known in-game somehow.

Oh, how many do you need for the dragonflight armor? My guild is no where close to getting any armor, so I am curious.

Also, do they expect you to just stop running dungeons once you hit that "1200" max? That does not make since.

I am at work but I believe it is 600 seals for the chest and 400 for everything else.

Here is a breakdown of the new armors (PVP and PVE) and what is needed to get them:

These are going to be the pain to get enough of unless your guild is running the SH dragons often (thanks Obama and Fallout 4):

Actually I was purposely hoarding for double seals release and I can confirm that you will only get 2 caches regardless of how many you earn. I accidentally opened them today to find out the last 4 days of saving were wasted because it only gave me 2 of each to open instead of the 4 like it should have.

Smh, just more things we as users lose out on because no where does it say it can't stack. NO WHERE.

thanks @iyodah.... Then this is a real problem, and one that is going to cause some justified butthurt in-game and here. Can one of the omipresent forum moderator peeps chime in with a 'yeah, we know, looking at it...' on this one?
