GF Buff Please

I have given this a lot of thought and the GF has become a weak player.

They are not as strong as any other class.

The Paladin has taken the role of tank and the GWF as premier Fighter.

The GF is not really good at anything any more.

Please consider buffing us a bit so we can remain a viable class

    Are you thinking of making gf class dps? Most good GF players are prefectly fine with how GF's are. Please check class forum.

    The problem is not GF being weak, it's about OP being too strong.

    In short words, this.

    GF's will never be a DPS char, we do not have those all fancy self buffs that come with pure DPS classes.
    Of course we can spec Conq and shift the gear to make some nice DPS but it's not a DPS class - period.

    As for being a tank. It takes much more skill to be a good tanky GF than with a Pally (I'm not even talking about perma bubble dudes - sorry nothing to add here). Playing a GF you must constantly move, keeping the bad guys in front of you. Wait to use your encounters when there's a window to use them, LOVE your SHIELD as it's your best friend by a mile.

    GF's are inferior in tanking vs. Paladins, but they're NOT the class that can be cast away. Paladins should be a equal class. At the moment they're much stronger than they probably should.

    Still, at the end of the day, no matter which class tanks. If the job is done, and the run is smooth, it doesn't really matter.
    Some players prefer GF's some of them like Palies - and there are those who likes the curves man! (bubble up! and let me stand in red all the time woho!).

    I've run dungeons with some really good GF tanks lurking around in legit. Tanking takes a special skill, not everyone can do it well. You need to be thinking about the whole party, not just about yourself and the mob. Positioning is crucial. Your build is also very important obviously. Of late I haven't struggled in a party with a GF tank, from what I can see they are fine where they are - OPs on the other hand need some serious toning down but it won't happen in Mod 8 if we go on what a dev said recently in that interview with a gaming site.
