Decided to do some nostalgia exploring, similar to the likes of which I did prior to mod 6 and share some screenshots of it. They not the best, I don't bother with inspect mode but hey, its always nice to explore 
Once Upon a time, there was no tree there and no paladin to stand before it.
We all feel like a narcissist every once in a while
Back before mod 3, I distinctly remember every time I finished Karrundax I would be dropped off in mount hotenow, which I would proceed to explore

Pre mod 6, after running etos you would be left in rothe valley, while waiting for dungeons I would spend a lot of time destroying the local fences

Pre mod 6, after leaving spellplague caverns you would get dumped into the chasm where this seal vendor would promply say, "rewards given, abominations slain!" and as irritating as that was, I would love to hear it some more if it meant I could do sp again
And something more recent, a way of settling disputes amicably in NWO, trial by losty:
The idea is, the people who are arguing come to lostmauth and have a CW place icy terrain in the centre island while you waiting for the lava phase to end. This leaves your lives to the mercy of the rocks and the person who does not die is the one who stands in the right. An effective NWO judgement system if ever there was one.

What was , will never be again apparently. In addition I was just commenting in another channel.. that the true power of leadership, was that I enjoyed the game no matter what I did.. its no longer the case, if Im not making AD, I dont even feel like Im playing. There is no time to explore to me, no running alts and the FIRST day of excitement hitting lvl 60.. gearing it out to the best of my ability (usually back then whatever cheap purple non sets , a plague enchant and a set of r6 darks/r7 rads to the mix.
My first days on all of my alts in sharandar, dread ring were my favorites.
Beating old Throne of Idiris at a 7k i level two years ago..
First time the Mad Dragon was beating by me.. and those terrible spawns defeated.. wonder.
The moment I found legit, after a TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE CN run where everyone wanted to cheat and I couldnt take it anymore (this was after some fool spend 20 mins trying to show me how to skip most of kurrundux) I was sooo tired of it and I went searching for a better home to play in.
The first few days of IWD.. lovely!
Even mod 5 .. I enjoyed the Tiamat encounter.. I did it over 500 times on 5 toons.. it was fun to me.
If it wasnt for these earlier and fonder memories, I simply wouldnt be here =(.
I so hope they can make some of the old early fun back into this game and fix some of the costing balance.. I just want to enjoy the game again!
