Possible New Player

Hi all, im looking for a new mmo to play and had some questions.

I was wondering how many servers NW has. I like high population so if its over 1 server id like to know which is the highest populated.

I also saw some threads on other sites saying some stuff that made me rethink joining, I heard theres p2w and the population has severely declined, not sure if its true or not, but would like more information if anyone can give,

thanks

Just wondering how much of NW is instanced, and how much is open world?

I don't mind some instances but a lot of them are a big turn off for me.

Also do all classes have the exact same builds, or can you be unique?

As far as I know all Cryptic's games are instanced so you're out of luck there, that's how they manage with only one server park. I have no idea how pvp is in pw or fw, but in STO it's as dead as the proverbial dodo according to the people who like doing that.
Logic is the beginning of wisdom, not the end of it.

in other games, yes Ive played on maps maybe 40-50 x the game meters of this one.. but frankly thier engine doesnt handle large maps, in fact the latest one made it really annoying with lots of lag.

    I would say this..

There is no mmo ive played with the same fluidity of combat as Neverwinter.. recent tries of new releases, had me come screaming back to neverwinter (sky-forge and Elder scrolls) and trust me , its not that I DIDNT want to love those games.. skyforge allows you to play any alt at any time.. great.. other then I hated the combat, so back I came.

You can play it to around lvl 61 or so with little problem, at lvl 70, if your going to stay, your going to want to buy a VIP pack for around ten dollars a month if you want to really play anymore.

Otherwise your pretty limited otherwise and its harder to grind in game..

A big issue is costing and not just for enchants, companion upgrade pricing is ridiculous as is certain profession gated pricing and stronghold donations at times.

A general fix or reduction to those items, would make the game much better!

The main map have around 50-100 instances, every of them have about 20-50 players in, pve is extremely funny compared to other games, pvp is unique a potentialy the best mmorpg pvp game mechanics to the time, but it's p2w,unbalanced and it's getting harderd to find a match since people get bored of that p2w, to make you a idea of how unbalance there is, a class, Trickster Rogue, can kill you in 1 hit while invisible, so yeah only a few can handle that.
