Dread ring rewards missing

I've noticed that often there are quests which say you will receive a greater mark of Power/ Union/ Stability (purple) and you get to pick which one to do. upon completion I don't get the item I was supposed to. I usually get a random rare tier (blue) mark

Also the dailies in the Dread ring have tendency not to give rewards if your bag is full, I probably missed out on a dozen reward bags before I realized this. They don't go into the overflow like other quest rewards they just vanish.
