    Portal hound, rank 12 bondings, personalised recovery in each slot. Gemmed recovery, defense

    Typicaly can keep ITF up 100% through fights

    But how does that add up to 20,000 defence?

    The runestones are 2,250, with three azures being 2,100. With Companion's gift proccing 3 times you'd get 8,483 extra defence. That means that the Hound's base defence would need to be about 4,000 in order to hit the 20,000 you say you're getting. If you have it Legendary and summoned, you'll get maybe 1,000 extra defence at most.

    Just can't see how you're hitting 33,000 defence.

    Dunno what causes it, but i can get upto 5 stacks of bonding. Companion bas lil over 4000 defense

    Think caps suppose to be 3? Idk

    DR% caps at 80%. I know this.

    But if you are at say 90% DR, does ITF give you an 80% buff or 90%. I have ITF at rank 4.

    I also assume that the DR% from a negation does not convert to damage with ITF since it is a temporary source of DR%.

    Do sources of temporary defense (say a potion or power from another class) convert into a damage buff via ITF?

    Cant test everything but best i can tell boosting defense effects ITF. It seems to boost based off character sheet DR.

    So potion and companion defense factor in.

    Yes any tooltip that simply says "raises DR" does not effect it.

    Have guide on mmominds, explains more. Also ill be updating it this weekend when laptops put the shop

    Ohh and my DR tool tip i have seen at 115% now, always tryin to push it higher.

    So far i have no reason to believe there is a cap on itf dmg bonus, other ppl call out when i hit it with 5 stacks that they hittin crazy numbers

    Christ, I've been locked out of this forum for ages now, just managed to get in. Stupid Arc Defender keeps thinking I'm using new computers cause I have a Dynamic IP. Annoying.

    I've also gone for the full-on buff route since this thread, I'm topping out at 95% DR at the moment without Companion's Gift proccing more than 3 times.

    I'm going to post another thread with my current build to see what people think.
