Donating to stronghold coffer

I asked this same question on Reddit but they will not allow the post for some reason, I am hoping it is ok to ask this here.

I have recently joined a guild ( never interacted with one before and am just learning how they work)
last night I completed a couple of stronghold quests, I would like to donate the rewards back to the stronghold coffer but cannot find a way to do this, how do I do this or do I need guild permissions?
There is no contact info in the Guild section to pm someone to ask, also I tried to put something in the guild bank but my bag items greyed out, and couldn't deposit anything, again do I need permission?

You'll need to do the stronghold introduction quests in the Stronghold Zone if you haven't already, then donate to the mimic treasure chest In the Stronghold Zone. The Zone can be reached using the normal travel map, it's in the upper right corner iirc.
