1 SW can kill a paladin?

What is this? We have a perma stealth TR, perma stun HR and now we have SW that can kill me faster than any other class with their debuffs.
We don't have the dps and speed, all we have is defense and when i fight a SW, my defense just goes to 0 within several seconds and die in 1 sec.
This is just unfair because i should be also be able to remove the debuffs with my cleans touch encounter power.

Srsly, i've been playing pvp a lot with my DC, TR, HR, CW and now with my paladin and have to say.. this is the worst pvp game i have ever seen compared to other mmo pvp games. There is no balance in pvp, no skill required to win and its getting boring and boring everyday.

You may agree or disagree but.. pvp is really unbalanced.

It really depends on how geared the opponent is. If they are using a high level Terror they'll strip your defences down unless you have an equally high Negation. Just being a pally isn't enough, you need the full burning, high negation, maybe a feytouch too. The only way you'll be 'invincible' is if you pair with a good haste cleric so you can perma-bubble.

In GG today my pally paired up with a really good DC from Denial and we held off about 6 enemy who were doing their best to permastun us until they gave up and left. Bear in mind my pally is still in blues so the DC gets the credit, not me lol.

I have full burning set, in pvp 2100 tenacity and in icewind dale 2456 tenacity. My damage resistance is 41% and using a greater negation + I am protection.
I must say that i have a super build ( my own build ) with a lot defense, recovery and healing. I challenge many players 1v1, 2v1 or 3v1in icewind dale to test my setup everyday, and most players i challenge are bis and some are p2w yet they still can't kill me easily. I don't say i cannot be killed but with my setup i cannot be killed by 1v1 or 2v1.
Now sometimes when i face a SW, doesn't matter how strong they are.. i shouldnt be killed so freaking fast.. it just makes no sense. I wouldnt mind if can be killed by 2 or more really strong players with high dps but shouldnt be killed instantly when i have super defense + 108k hitpoints and 60k+ temporary hitpoints,

I remember its a purple skull on my head when a sw tries to debuff me or something and after several sec.... i am dead. It looks like this debuff power has a 6 sec timer and when it reaches 0 it can kill me instantly.

This is just unfair to to paladins. it makes our paragon completely useless.

Your crying that someone can 1 v 1 you. Will you listen to yourself? You are seriously complaining because your broken class can't eat 3 people at once sometimes.

No, please read my post again. This encounter power or whatever power it is can kill a paladin with high defense instantly.
You say broken class because we are hard to kill right? I agree with that but remember that any class has a better dps than a paladin. If 1 sw can kill a paladin instantly, whats the point having so much defense?

True, SW's have the hardest time in pvp - only the really good ones can 1v1 the majority of classes. I get what your saying about pally survivability against them but it was inevitable that some HAMSTER in the OP armour would be discovered.

FF - we are not immune to everything but if you find out what exactly the SW is doing then it may be possible to counter it.

I take it you don't get this with every SW so it's possible he has a specific setup he's found works well against pallys. Most pug SW's won't bring down my 1.8k IL pally - at least not quickly, and my guy is not halfway decent yet.

Once they fix the Elven ench, maybe that's the key?

Thank you, this is what i've been experiencing in pvp. I've been killed super fast/instantly by sw, gwf (so far i can remember)
Also some sw's in my guild say warlocks bargain/deadly curse is glitched and can kill a player instantly.

the thing between lostmauth set and warlock is different. i think if I recall, the dots of warlocks can crit, proccing the damage of the set many times. The glyps glitch I believe is independent from the lostmauth set.
I do think the lostmauth set is either bugger or the tooptip is wrong. it does way more damage than the weapon damage. it feels like skill damage, or something.

I am a protection paladin and have my own build. 2100 tenacity in pvp and 2426 tenacity outside pvp.

I've been challenging the best of the best players (HR, CW, TR, GF, GWF, SW, DC, OP) all bis and with legendary or higher gears/enchants in icewind dale 1v1 and sometimes 2v1 and no 1 could get my hp below 70%.
Now, when i get killed by a weak sw 1v1 in pvp.. i am 110% he is doing some kind of glitch or whatever to kill me instantly.
See @zwergenschubser post and watch the video. That is what i am experiencing in pvp.

No 1 can melt a paladin with a perfect build at 1v1 because we are overpowered and broken (evil laugh)
Only paladins with poor builds can be killed easily at 1v1.

Gonna have to point out you're dying to glitchs from the SW and GWF. With that being said it isnt "fair" to know a class exists that can tank 3-5 players without having some counter, glitch or not. So yes it sucks people have to use glitchs to kill you (it happens to me plenty from gwfs) but i know pallies in my guild hve adapted and learned how to survive so theres definatly a way.

It takes no skill to survive an attack with an OP. Actually I take that back, my 8yld nephew can withstand multiple attacks from well geared players with an OP. So it takes the skill of a noob 8yld.

Anyone can look at a build online and make a OP and challenge people. Boring thread, come over to my world of the GF and see how skill works in survivability. No bitty bubble to hide behind, no 360 degree protection. Just awareness.

i know some ppl is using the dragon glyph glitch and with that glitch they can 1 or 2 shotted any class, saw a hr 2 shotted a 2900 gs score pally the other day when i was in gg, try to hget the node in time to help him with heal and haste but i'm way too late

is just sad to see so many ppl is willing to do anything to have the upper hand and to farm kills where they will abuse the in game glitch to win it such as dragon hoard glitch and inside the node glitch =(

That's interesting, they don't have the same reflect skills of the GF, just one that fires 20% back after a few seconds - maybe he was using a briartwine enchantment? I've thought about that before.

lol...is for me to know and for u to find out, but on the serious note, i'm 1 of those ppl that does not like cheating in the game, ppl that exploit and cheat in this game really takes out the fun. tho i wish that bugs work on pve and epic dungeon but i experiment it and it does not work as well as pvp.

not really, a lot of high gs score pvpers from top pvp guild have been using that specific glyph. in fact after GG i send a tell to that person doing the glitch to the pally and his response is just smiley icon..lol..so i that person is "putting the fun back into the game" to him means more farming kills against ppl with low gear score to feed their self egos.

anywhoo, this game have ay too much glitch and exploit that everybody can utilize, i really hope that not a lot of ppl use the exploit, as that will prevent others from doing pvp, for me i want to promote pvp to every1 and get the community to get involve in pvp to enjoy and have fun

I was playing pvp with my paladin with random players and we were trying to capture zone 1 with a haste cleric.
3 players from the other team came and i activated my bubble so they couldn't kill the haste cleric.
After 10 second fighting the other team i suddenly died instantly with the bubble active.
I had 10000 defense, 1500 deflect, 2100 tenacity and was using greater negation + bubble and still died instantly. I must say thats a very powerful glitch lmao.
I should have recorded that match tho.
They fixed the glitches in epic dungeons but not the dragon glyph glitch
