Yeah, I totally dig that. And I wouldn't mind spending a few bucks every month, but the issues the game currently has plus Cryptic not really worrying about it keeps me from doing it.

I don't doubt that Cryptic cares; it's just some of their problems are (seemingly) self inflicted.

Working in the industry, I totally get wanting every platform to be on (mostly) the same codebase and schedule. In doing so, however, it's been too much too soon for XBOX. Gamers are, and have sound reason to be, gunshy about making any character \ equipment decisions; they just don't know if the developer is going to nuke everything they just worked on.

For what it is worth, I don't think Cryptic was initially well prepared for the games success (lag, server issues), how people would exploit the game (economy), or how the game would progress long term (you can only diminish stat returns so much for example). I did not expect to see this from them as this is not their first day at school; Star Trek Online and Champions (to name a couple) have been out for ages and one would have thought that lessons learned there would have been part of the curriculum for NW.

That said, I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt that things, on all fronts, are going to improve. Thus far, other than a few gripes, I'm good with MOD6.

I have a few... you can click on a stack of Identify Scrolls and then click on each unidentified item making it much quicker to do in bulk.

You can see a mimic before opening it just by looking at it with your cross-hairs. A bag means a real chest, no bag is a mimic.

The Identity Scrolls thing was massive. Only found that out after reading a thread on here a few weeks back.

Also if it's a Mimic it say 'Open' rather than 'Search' Treasure Chest.

Sell everything from the Events in the AH. Gifts of Tymora, Siege riches etc as opening them tends to give you nothing for all your hard work. AD is much better.

Erm the Tymora boxes are great and I do not know why people would think otherwise. Plenty of profession items and I mean loads... Lots and lots of potions, I have received RAD quite a number of times from them and the lucky coin is actually fairly decent.

Experience Booster is applied to your experience earned after all other bonuses are applied.
So, even during a Double XP event and with 50% extra XP from Azure enchantments your Experience Booster is only going to last till you get to level 60.

E.g. with a new character when I ran through the quest line all way to Vellosk, I gained about 152,000 XP from the quests. Which got multiplied into 152,000 * 1.5 (azures) * 2.0 (double XP) = 456,000 XP. And then, thanks to the experience booster it got multiplied into 912,000 XP - sufficient to reach level 60. If only the booster was applied before the other bonuses I would still have 73% of it unspent. As-is I've only got 17% of this booster remaining.

The professions stuff was OK if you got a Dragon Egg or two but otherwise I wasn't too bothered. Mostly Leadership stuff so pointless.

Potions are useful but as you can now only have one active at any one time they tend to stack up quite a bit. Plus with all the gold you build up now you can surely buy all the potions you need as there's nothing to spend that gold on but potions and kits.

You get a nice bundle of potions you cannot buy with Gold... these are useful for levelling up Alchemy or selling in bundles of 99 on the AH :)

Dragon Eggs were nice and I also received some Unified Elelments which were pretty cool. Around 20-30 lots of 2000 RAD yum :)

The lucky coins sell on the market for a nice sum as well once you have one of your own.

Also I wouldn`t discount Leadership like everyone else is doing. I still have an Alt spamming it and halfway to LV22. I have 33 bags of Runestones already, even though they are bound when you open them the runestones are not :)

I now have a 2nd Alt spamming Leadership to start farming stones as well. Also I have been doing the task which gets you peasants or something like that, also a bundle of other items that do get AD from Leadership. There are still tasks in Leadership that give you 1600 AD (on an Alt this is good to send over to your main), on a double AD event those tasks will still bring in a nice sum of AD.

Oh and if you buy the mount from the shop dude with enough currency that also sells on the AH for a fair amount.

I got around 300 tymora boxes whilst levelling my OP and opened them all. I made around 50k AD, 4 dragon eggs, 4 unified elements, 4 lucky coins and a ton of potions and professions items. (and 3 of those stupid crowns)

If I bought these items they'd cost in excess of 200k AD so not bad for a freebie! Especially as my OP is going to need the eggs and elements for jewellery.

152 boxes...going for 150K AD in AH. Instead I opened them all against my better judgement...1 eggs, HAMSTER ton of potions, a HAMSTER load of profession stuff, 4 coins (which I sold at 30K each), and 3 jester hats...for a mere 1K each in AH.

Should have sold the lot in the AH for the 150K...

    Shoulda, woulda, coulda!!

Are "experience gain" and "XP boost" the same thing? I ask cause azures give you experience gain, but brutals and savages give you XP boost.

If you sold just the 4 coins and egg you would've came close to breaking even at150k leaving you with the rewards from 148 boxes....10-15k AD's seems well worth the gamble

Not sure if there is a difference. Azures effect is immediately visible when you accept quests, while Experience Booster from Zen Market is applied quietly in the background. If that matters for you - you can try buying a rank 1 brutal and check if it affects the quest XP rewards.

Correction: 3 coins in which I kept 1...but your right, could have been WAY worst!!

It was fun opening them...like a kid at Christmas!
